Being of South Sudanese Decent, it was important for me to bring solutions and help South Sudan. My meeting with the President of South Sudan, General Salva Kiir Mayardit allowed me to present my plan for Covid Relief

Who is Miss Universe: She is a global citizen that doesn’t belong to one but all people. Miss Universe doesn’t only care about matters within her own country but those abroad as well. She understands that countries have different needs; and the same goes for individuals. Her mentality is that of unity because we are one.
I went to South Sudan not only to see the country for the first time but to provide solutions. South Sudan has more than just covid 19 and HIV to worry about, they also have 15 other diseases that are taking the lives of citizens at a rapid pace. Which is why I’ve donated 10,000 rapid Covid 19 and HIV tests from ‘Assure tech’ lab as part of my ‘Know your status’ campaign. I believe awareness and proper care is the best solution.
I’ve also teamed up with a lab to open testing centres in South Sudan for not only the two pandemics but for the other 15, which include cancer. Patients will be able to receive their results rapidly to avoid negligence. South Sudan is the youngest country with lots of work to be done. I’m grateful that Canada has given me many opportunities, I want to do the same for people all over the world.
